A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

A FAITHFUL MAN WILL ABOUND WITH BLESSINGS

Faithfulness and obedience to God and His commands bring blessings. The man who is faithful to God will be rewarded.

HE WHO HASTENS TO BE RICH WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED

The one who is in a hurry to get rich is almost always willing to cheat or compromise, be dishonest and greedy just to gain wealth. God promises that this one will be punished either in this life or the next.

Instead of desiring quick and easy money, desire to have a faithful and obedient heart in serving the Lord. Surely you will be blessed abundantly.

Proverbs 20:21

An inheritance gained hastily at the beginning will not be blessed at the end.

1 Timothy 6:9

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
