Burundi Prison Outreach Report – Muramvya Province

Yesterday we traveled to Muramvya Province, taking 32 bibles to the inmates who recently received Christ. I also took 2 copies of the Foundations of our Christian Faith Kirundi Version: I gave one to the Chief of the Prison and another I gave to the leader of the Prisoner's Bible Group. In their gathering, we preached and answered their bible related questions.

After the Bible Group Gathering, they took me to the men's courtyard where I preached Christ to nearly 300 men and more than 50 men received Christ as their Lord and Savior. It was incredibly amazing to see them raise their hands as they opened their hearts to the Lord.

Next, they took me to the women's side. They have 61 female inmates. We also preached, had a few receive Jesus, and we bought 61 kg of rice for them, 1 kg for each of them.

I praise God for giving the opportunity to serve Him and His people, our brothers and sisters, and to bring more who have not heard of Jesus to Him through the preaching of the Gospel.

I thank God for Pastor Jim. The people loved receiving the bibles and they took some time praying for Him and Equipping the Saints International for more blessings and strength to continue be a blessing to the body of Christ.
