Dear Friends and Partners,
Greetings in Christ!
Thank you for your prayers and support. We are grateful for God's faithfulness as we continue equipping believers and advancing the Gospel. We hope these ministry updates, testimonies, and prayer requests encourage you.
MINISTRY UPDATES
Worship Service
This month at Equipping the Saints International Church–Guihulngan, we joyfully celebrated our 1st Thanksgiving Anniversary. Through the message, “Built Upon a Firm Foundation” (Matthew 7:24–25), we were reminded to build our lives on Christ. We welcomed guests from different churches and unbelievers to hear the Gospel.

Preaching & Teaching
God’s Word strengthened many hearts. We also observed a Congregational Foot Washing service, following Jesus’ example of humility, love, and servant leadership as He washed His disciples’ feet.

Outreach Ministry: Our outreach ministry in Planas, Guihulngan City continues through worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship, helping families grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

Youth & Children: Youth from different churches united to lead worship during our anniversary celebration. Our Children’s Ministry also continues faithfully through Teachers Marilou and Cherly, who lovingly teach God's Word through Bible lessons, songs, and activities.
Discipleship: Our Midweek Bible Study continues to strengthen believers through God's Word, prayer, fellowship, and testimonies. We also rejoiced as Gordon publicly declared his faith in Christ through baptism following our anniversary celebration.

Inter-Church Prayer and Fasting: Churches from different cities and towns and provinces gather together for a unified prayer, fasting, and consecration.

Negros Island Region Prayer Gathering: Churches from the Provinces of Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor gather together in Guihulngan City for a unified Worship and Intercession for our Nation.

TESTIMONY
This month, we witnessed God’s faithfulness through two powerful testimonies. Following our 1st Thanksgiving Anniversary celebration, Gordon made the life-changing decision to follow Jesus Christ and was baptized. His wife, Cherly, had faithfully prayed for his salvation and consistently shared this request during our Bible studies. Seeing God answer those prayers filled their family and our church with great joy.

We also praise God for Lyka, one of the youths in our outreach ministry. During Bible study, she courageously shared the struggles she had been carrying. As our church family prayed for her, encouraged her, and spoke God’s Word over her life, she experienced His comfort, peace, and renewed hope.

These testimonies remind us that God is still saving lives, answering prayers, and strengthening His people. All glory belongs to Jesus!
PRAYER
That every member of our families will receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and faithfully choose to follow Him.
God’s favor, wisdom, and protection over our youth as they study, that they may be the salt and light in their schools and communities.
Continued strength, guidance, and provision for our young professionals as they begin their careers.
Wisdom, strength, protection, and renewed joy for pastors, leaders, and teachers as they faithfully serve the Lord.
God’s blessing upon the work, businesses, farms, lands, and animals of every church member, that the work of their hands may prosper and bring glory to Him.
That God may grant us a decent place to worship and gather together, and also that He may establish a training center in Negros Oriental.
CLOSING NOTE
We give all glory to God for His continued faithfulness in our ministry this month. We remain grateful for every life touched, every heart renewed, and every opportunity to serve. May we continue to walk in obedience, passion, and unity as we advance God’s kingdom.
In Christ,
ETSIM Guihulngan Family
