Every Saturday, a special gathering takes place at Monroe’s residence, which has graciously opened their home to welcome children every week, making it a place of learning, laughter, and spiritual growth in Bacolod City.
Led by Pastor Johnny Tayson from Jesus Christ's Church International, this children’s ministry offers a warm, welcoming environment where young hearts can grow in their understanding of God’s love while having fun with Bible stories, songs, and activities. The children's ministry is designed to be a safe, welcoming environment for kids of all backgrounds.
Pastor Johnny Tayson’s heart for children is reflected in every aspect of this ministry. As the head pastor of Jesus Christ’s Church International, he brings years of experience and a deep passion for guiding young hearts toward a relationship with Christ.
The ministry is not just about formal lessons but about building a community of faith, love, and support. The children are encouraged to ask questions, share their thoughts, and, most importantly, grow in their relationship with Christ. Saturdays are filled with excitement as kids gather for a mix of Bible-based lessons, fun activities, and interactive games.
Pastor Johnny’s approach is for the children to be able to see how the teachings of Jesus can influence their everyday actions and choices. Whether it’s learning about kindness, patience, forgiveness, or love, every lesson is a building block for their faith journey.
Before their summer break, the children of the Children’s Ministry had a memorable and joyful farewell party.
As requested by the kids, the celebration took place at a fast food chain, where they all gathered for fun, food, and fellowship. It was a time to celebrate their growth and the friendships they’d built throughout the year. The farewell party was not just a celebration of the season but a reflection of the joy and camaraderie that the ministry fosters, both in and out of the outreach area.
After a short break, the Children’s Ministry will resume, and we can’t wait to welcome the children back! The excitement continues as the kids come together to grow in faith and deepen their understanding of God’s love. The ministry will pick up right where it left off, offering engaging lessons, activities, and a strong sense of community.
As the Children’s Ministry continues to grow, there are hopes to reach even more children in Bacolod City and expand its impact. Special events, outreach programs, and holiday celebrations are in the works to further engage the community and create more opportunities for spiritual growth.
