"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?"
Esther 4:14
What if you are where you are right now for a greater purpose?
March is the National Women’s Month here in the Philippines and so today, we will reflect about the story of a brave woman in the bible.
Esther was a young Jewish woman who became queen in a powerful kingdom.
When a decree was made to destroy her people, she was faced with a choice: stay silent and protect herself, or risk her life to speak up and save her people.
Her cousin Mordecai reminded her that she might have become queen "for such a time as this"—to act in a moment of great need.
This is a powerful reminder as we celebrate National Women's Month—a time to recognize and honor the courage, strength, and impact of women throughout history and in our world today.
Just like Esther, women are placed in specific roles and situations, sometimes for a greater purpose than we can fully see. Each woman has the potential to make a difference, no matter the size of the moment.
Esther’s bravery encourages us to step into our own unique roles with courage and faith.
Whether in the workplace, at home, at school or in our communities, we all have the opportunity to use our influence for good, just as Esther did when she chose to speak up.
Today, we are encouraged to continue supporting and uplifting others, just like Esther did when she took action in the face of fear. We can all step into our roles, no matter how big or small, and be a force for good in the world.
You may not always see the impact of your actions right away, but know that God has placed you exactly where you are for a reason.
Every small act of courage, kindness, or leadership counts.
You are valuable, and God is using you—just as He used Esther—for a time like this.
Keep stepping forward in faith, knowing that He is with you, and your influence is making a difference.
