Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you.
Isaiah 35:4
At times, it is simpler to encourage others with phrases like "do not fear" or "be strong" during favorable circumstances. However, in challenging times, we often overlook God's command for us to remain steadfast and trust in Him. Our hearts can be filled with fear, particularly when faced with physical, financial, emotional, or future uncertainties, as well as when it seems like the enemies are prevailing over us.
This verse conveys the message that there is no need for us to worry or be afraid of those who are against us or the circumstances that make us anxious. The wrongdoers will be held accountable for their actions, and God will ensure that justice is served on our behalf. God will intervene against those who stand in opposition to His followers and attempt to cause them harm. God is our protector, and He will intervene to rescue us.
God is the ultimate source of deliverance and redemption; therefore, our current situations are not permanent. God will save us from the depths of despair and provide relief from our troubles.
Have faith in God's righteousness and find comfort in the certainty that He will correct injustices and ensure justice for the oppressed.
May we find peace, comfort, and courage in this verse as we put our trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, our hope, savior, redeemer, and deliverer. Keep going, God's strong soldier!
