Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1
When I was a child, my mom would often send me to our neighbor’s sari-sari store. She would say, “Get this and that—and tell them, I’ll pay later.” I remember walking with empty hands, not a single coin in my pocket, but full of confidence that my mother would take care of it.
I didn’t worry about how the payment would happen. I’d hand the items to my mom, and then I was back outside playing with my friends—completely at peace. Why? Because I knew my mom had it handled. That was her problem, not mine.
In the same way, when God tells us to do something, we don’t need to come with our own strength, resources, or answers. We don’t need to know how everything will work out. If God calls you, He will cover it.
Are you hesitating because you don’t see how the provision will come? Are you afraid because you feel unequipped or unworthy?
Let me gently remind you: that’s not your problem to solve. That’s God’s.
He led you there, and He will carry you through. Your job is to obey. Walk. Speak. Go. Just like I went to that sari-sari store with nothing but trust in my mother’s word—God invites us to step forward with faith in His Word.
