Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
— Matthew 6:34
There’s a verse I often encounter, and it has become a quiet reminder in the middle of my worries — “Do not worry about tomorrow…”
There were days when I looked at tomorrow with fear and anxiety. I asked myself, “What will I do? I don’t have enough.”There were times I felt like I had nothing left at all. But every single time, God never failed to show me that His grace is indeed sufficient.
He always makes a way — sometimes through a friend’s unexpected help, a family member’s comfort, or even through a stranger’s kindness. Those moments reminded me that God sees my needs even before I ask. He doesn’t just provide things; He provides peace, hope, and assurance that I’ll be okay today — and as for tomorrow, He’s already there.
God works in mysterious yet beautiful ways. And even though I’ve seen His faithfulness over and over, I admit — I still worry. We all do. We tend to forget how powerful He is and how small our problems are compared to Him. We see the storm but forget the One who calms it.
But God understands our hearts. He gently reminds us to trust Him one day at a time. Each day may have its troubles, but each day also brings new grace and mercy. What we need to do is to focus on today — to thank Him for His provision now, to rest in His presence now, and to trust that He’s already gone ahead of us for tomorrow.
So if you’re in a season of uncertainty, remember this: God always provides. He always does. You might not know how, but He does. Hold on to His promise, because just as the night eventually gives way to morning, your worries will give way to joy.
