But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
Today, I woke up feeling weak and sick. My body is tired, and it’s tempting to give in to fear and discouragement. But even in this moment, my heart is reminded of one unshakable truth: Jesus is my Jehovah Rapha — the Lord who heals me.
God revealed Himself to His people as Jehovah Rapha in Exodus 15:26, declaring that He is the God who heals. That name is not just a title; it’s His nature. Healing flows from who He is.
When Jesus went to the cross, He didn’t just bear our sins — He also carried our sicknesses. Isaiah 53:5 declares that "by His stripes we are healed." Every lash He endured, every wound He suffered, was for my healing — body, soul, and spirit. His love secured my restoration.
So even though my body feels weak today, my faith is strong because it rests on His finished work. I believe that God is at work in me, bringing strength, life, and healing. I choose to speak His promises over myself, knowing that His Word never returns void.
Today, I don't just pray for healing — I thank Jesus for it, trusting that His power is already at work in me
