Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
Psalm 100:2
Serving God is a privilege—and sometimes, it’s easy to think it has to be all hard work, discipline, and sacrifice. But as we gathered together at our 38th Annual Passover Convention, God reminded us of a powerful truth:
Kingdom authority doesn’t take away our joy—it protects it. Walking in God’s favor doesn’t limit us—it frees us to enjoy life even more.
For three days, we were soaked in God’s presence—through worship, teaching, and fellowship. The Word reminded us of our identity in Christ, the authority we carry as His sons and daughters, and the beauty of living in alignment with His Kingdom.
God also gave us a special bonus: a refreshing time together at Splash Park Bacolod. Kids were laughing, families were smiling, and hearts were light. And that’s when it hit me—this joy is part of our worship too. Our laughter honors God. Our unity pleases Him. Our rest glorifies Him.
God isn’t just with us in the solemn moments—He’s also present in the celebration. When we laugh together, bond in fellowship, and take joy in His blessings, it reflects the fullness of life He wants for us.
Kingdom living isn’t joyless—it’s overflowing with joy, peace, and favor. That’s what happens when we walk closely with Jesus. He blesses our work, then refreshes us with rest.
Walking in God’s Kingdom means living under His authority—yes—but it also means living in His joy. Let your ministry be full of gladness, and don’t be afraid to enjoy the blessings He gives. That, too, is worship.
