Seeking God Together: A Midweek Bible Study with the Peroy Family

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:20

There is something powerful about coming together in faith, lifting our hearts in worship, and growing in the knowledge of God’s Word. In the midst of life’s uncertainties and challenges, there is one unshakable foundation—God’s presence, His promises, and the unchanging truth of Scripture.

Every Wednesday at 2 PM, a group of believers gathers in Shell, Murcia, Negros Occidental, in the home of the Peroy Family. This midweek Bible study is a time of spiritual refreshing, renewal, and revival. Led by Pastor Libe Palomar and his wife, Sister Lilibeth, this fellowship is a reminder that no one has to walk their faith journey alone.

God never intended for His people to walk alone. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:25: “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

When believers gather to study the Word, something supernatural happens. Hearts are strengthened, faith is renewed, and burdens are lifted. In a world that often feels overwhelming, the presence of God brings peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). At this midweek Bible study, prayer is central. Prayer is not just about asking God for things—it is about communion with Him, aligning our hearts with His will, and surrendering our worries at His feet.

Every meeting is an opportunity to cast our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7), to stand in faith for breakthroughs, and to believe that God is moving in every situation—even the ones we don’t understand.

The Bible is not just a book; it is God’s living and active Word (Hebrews 4:12). It speaks to every situation, every struggle, and every question we have in life. It guides, convicts, strengthens, and equips believers to walk in righteousness.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

In today’s fast-paced world, it is easy to get distracted and lose focus on what truly matters. But when believers set aside time to study the Bible, they are reminded of God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and His promises that never fail. The enemy tries to fill minds with doubt and fear, but the Word of God is a weapon of truth that destroys lies and strengthens faith (Ephesians 6:17).

This Bible study is a place where questions are welcomed, where truth is explored, and where God’s voice is heard through Scripture. Each session is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to grow in wisdom, and to develop a faith that can withstand the storms of life.

Beyond the teachings, this gathering is a place of fellowship and support. It is a reminder that no one is alone in their struggles, no one is unseen, and no one is forgotten by God.

Testimonies of answered prayers, breakthroughs, and God’s faithfulness are shared, strengthening the faith of those who may be going through difficult seasons. Whether someone is battling doubt, fear, or uncertainty, this community is a place to find hope, joy, and peace in the Lord. God calls His people to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15).

That is what makes this Bible study so special—it is not just about learning, but about living life together in faith.

This gathering has been a blessing to many, and as it continues to grow, prayers are needed. Pray for the Peroy Family, that God may bless them abundantly for their generosity in opening their home. Pray for Pastor Libe and Sister Lilibeth, that the Lord may continue to give them wisdom, strength, and anointing as they lead. Pray for every person who attends, that they may experience deeper intimacy with God, receive divine revelations from Scripture, and walk in victory over every battle they face.

May this ministry continue to shine as a light in the community, drawing more people to Christ and building a generation that stands firmly on God’s truth. Let this be a reminder: God sees, God hears, and God answers. Those who seek Him will never be left empty, and those who trust in Him will never be put to shame (Romans 10:11).

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” – Colossians 3:16

Come, learn, worship, and grow. God has something amazing in store!
