The God of Restoration and Increase

Job 8:5-7

Bildad could not see what was happening in the heavenly realm and understand God's perspective. He accused Job of wrongdoing and suggested that Job needed to repent in order for everything to be restored. This accusation implied that Job was not pure and upright because God had not intervened on his behalf. While this may be true in some situations, it was not true for Job.

THOUGH YOUR BEGINNING WAS SMALL, YET YOUR LATTER END WOULD INCREASE ABUNDANTLY

However, we find comfort and encouragement in the truth that Job experienced a remarkable increase in his latter days. Though his beginning was small, he was brought down to poverty, he had reached a point where he had nothing left to lose. Yet, God did not forsake him; instead, He awakened on his behalf. Job's righteousness emerged from the depths of darkness, and he prospered seven times over, even surpassing his previous state.

EVERYTHING YOU LOST WILL BE NOTHING COMPARED WITH WHAT GOD WILL GIVE YOU THEN

Though unintentional, the words Bildad spoke were prophetic and came true in Job's life. This is a reminder that God can use unexpected sources to speak truth and bring about His plans. It encourages us to pay attention to the words spoken around us, as God may use them to bring confirmation.

Praise be to the God of Restoration and Great Increase!
