Update: Church Leaders’ Conference in Rural Burundi – Mission Accomplished!

We are thrilled to share the wonderful outcome of the Church Leaders’ Conference held last week in rural Burundi, led by Pastor Claude Hatungimana alongside Pastor Jim O’Connor, author of The Foundations of Our Christian Faith.

After five days of intense biblical teaching and equipping, we now have around 50 men and women of God who have successfully completed the training and received their certificates—awarded in the virtual presence of Pastor Jim himself.

Using the Kirundi translation of The Foundations of Our Christian Faith, participants spent the week studying, discussing, and applying God’s Word. The conference was more than just learning—it was a time of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.

We rejoice at what God has done and believe this investment in church leaders will bear fruit for years to come. These newly equipped leaders are now returning to their churches and communities, ready to teach, disciple, and impact lives with the Gospel.
