He Is Worthy

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Revelation 4:11

We worship the LORD because He is worthy, and He alone is deserving. To Him belong glory, honor, and power. Our worship is not based on our feelings, emotions, or current situations; it is not centered around us. Rather, we worship Him based on who He was, who He is, and who He will be. He is unchanging, eternally worthy from everlasting to everlasting. When we approach the Lord, we recognize that we have nothing to offer Him, and He needs nothing from us because everything belongs to Him—He is the creator of all things.

In the presence of the everlasting God, all we can do is humbly adore Him and lay our crowns at His feet. We acknowledge that everything we possess—our titles, positions, fame, achievements, and accomplishments—comes from Him and belongs to Him. We are His creations, each existing to bring glory and pleasure to God. He has granted us dominion and authority, making us kings. Therefore, we willingly cast our crowns as kings before the King of kings, understanding that our authority and victories come from Him.

So, dear brothers and sisters, have you learned to lay your crowns at the Savior’s feet?
